The course will be taught virtually by Zoom by Margaret Gering, a highly experienced water safety expert who serves as Paddlecraft Safety Program Coordinator with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary East District-Northern Region and is an American Canoe Association (ACA) Level 2 Coastal Kayaking Instructor. She will speak about important safety tips, and reference some of the things that presented safety concerns from the event that occurred in April.
